Claire's Musikgarten
Claire's Musikgarten classes are designed to nurture the child's music aptitude by engaging children and their families in singing and movement activities which help attune the ear, refine the voice, and develop a rhythmic body through which music can be expressed. Additionally, instrumental activities are part of the program, ranging from playing simple rhythm instruments such as sticks and drums for babies and toddlers to playing keyboards for older children. Musikgarten is the only program that offers curricula for newborns through group piano instruction. It is based on a keen understanding of how children learn, in both a general sense and, specifically, how they learn music.
Harare Children's Community Choir
This is a very special Choir, currently available for junior school aged children. It is an excellent choir for homeschoolers to join as they do not have a default school choir to sing in, but this is also a unique opportunity for traditionally-schooled students to interact with students from other schools, something that is not afforded them in many other fields. Uniting through song is a powerful experience and this choir go on camps and tours and take part in concerts, theatrical productions and Eisteddfods! At our low, low price who can resist?

Recorder Groups
Recorder groups are offered to children of all ages. The Recorder is a versatile instrument, perfect for young musicians as the production of sound is instant ie it does not require hours of embouchure development or pitch placement. However, that does not make it an easy instrument! Being a part of a Recorder group (Recorder Ensemble is the correct term) is a great way to build camaraderie and is an enriching and satisfying experience which students remember fondly for years. The Recorder Ensemble teaches students to pay attention to each other and to stay in time with each other.

Individual Piano and Music Theory Lessons
Claire also offers individual piano instruction to children ages 8 and above. Younger children are requested to join the Musikgarten group piano program as it is in the child's best interests to begin in this way.
Individual students have the opportunity to take part in concerts and Eisteddfods and are prepared for ABRSM piano and music theory examinations.
